The Spark Beneath the Surface
Tanveer Alam, working as a Chief Engineer on offshore platforms for Aramco, observed something that would change his family’s future — divers descending into the unknown. A thought struck him:
“One day, I’ll build a diving company with my sons.”
What began as a spark of inspiration on the open seas would later shape a legacy.
A Dream Takes Its First Dive
The first family-run diving service was born in the UAE.
Tanveer Alam, along with his sons Atif Alam and Adeel Alam, turned vision into reality.
With limited resources and boundless grit, they built the business from scratch — while juggling other jobs.
Atif worked as a truck driver, in a printing press, and even packed boxes of sweets.
Adeel balanced responsibilities too — both brothers diving, grinding, and learning every day.
The dive business was a side hustle, but their passion? That ran deeper than the ocean.

2017
The Rise of HHA
With experience came ambition.
After years of working together, the two brothers decided to part ways professionally, and HHA Diving Services LLC was born under the leadership of Atif Alam.
Its mission:
Tackle the industry’s toughest jobs — head-on.
HHA made waves with its first major success — the salvage of a massive oil rig in Abu Dhabi, an 8-month-long feat that established HHA as a trusted name in high-risk marine operations.
